Continues Veterinary Clinical Pathology I with emphasis on common blood and urine tests performed in a veterinary laboratory.
Prerequisite: AGV 120, AGV 128 , AGV 129 and AGV 133
Competencies

Perform a complete blood cell count and other hematological tests.
1. Prepare and stain a blood smear
2. Identify and describe various RBC’s
3. Identify various WBC’s
4. Discuss normal values for blood cells
5. Perform reticulocyte counts
Demonstrate Urinalysis procedures.
1. Demonstrate collection techniques
2. Discuss normal/abnormal values
3. Record properly results of tests
Demonstrate common cytological diagnostic tests and sample preparation.
1. Demonstrate sample collection techniques and preparations
2. Discuss normal and abnormal characteristics of cells
Evaluate blood chemistry panel.
1. Identify various blood chemistries and their application
2. Evaluate individual tests and their use
3. Perform blood chemistry panel
