The Business Administration-Human Resource Management Concentration AAS degree is designed for students who want to prepare for an immediate career in Human Resources. Students will engage in a course of study that will prepare them with knowledge in Accounting, Computer Applications, Economics, Business Communications and Presentations, Management and Human Resources Principles, Leadership and Team Development, Benefits and Compensation Management, Staffing, Employment Law and Risk Management, Employee Training and Development and Strategic Management. The program includes an option of a final capstone or internship experience during the last semester providing students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting before graduation.

To earn a Business Administration, Human Resourse Management, AAS, a student must complete all required coursework as prescribed and maintain a 2.0 grade point average.

  • Reading, communication and math skills must be at college level to gain maximum benefit from classes.
  • For career advancement and advanced position placement, students may need to continue college coursework beyond the two-year program.
  • For transferability to four-year colleges and universities, it is important that students work closely with advisors and admissions counselors to maximize their course transfer options.
