The Business Administration-Entrepreneurship Concentration AAS degree is intended for the student who desires employment in a small business or plans to open and operate their own small business. Students will engage in a course of study that will prepare them with knowledge in Accounting, Computer Applications, Economics, Business Communications and Presentations, Small Business Management and Marketing Principles, Business Law, and Strategic Management.

To earn an Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, AAS degree, a student must complete the standard core requirements for the degree, plus the Entrepreneurship/Business required courses and must maintain a 2.0 grade point average. Option 1 - Select 3 credits

What Kind of Work Will You Do?
- Research and develop a business plan for a start-up organization.
- Assist in planning, organizing, leading and controlling the work activities of a new or existing business.
- Hire, direct, supervise and evaluate the work of employees.
- Provide analysis and recommendations for implementing best practice solutions to stakeholders.
- Forecast Industry needs/demands and market, sell, and/or support products or services to business-to-consumer and business-to-business customers.
- Use technology for communication, business applications, web applications and presentations to individuals and groups.
- Execute or manage the information flow in an organization.

What Else Should I Consider about this Degree program?
- Reading, communication and math skills must be at college level to gain maximum benefit from classes.
- For career advancement and advanced position placement, students may need to continue college coursework beyond the two-year program.
- For transferability to four-year colleges and universities, it is important that students work closely with advisors and admissions counselors to maximize their course transfer options.
